Barcelona drop points, Bayern run ended

Real Madrid 4-1 Getafe (Benzema 4 16, Bale 35, Ronaldo 38; Alexis 70)
Karim Benzema scored twice inside the first 20 minutes to set Madrid on their way to a comfortable win. Gareth Bale's goal was his second in as many games, while Cristiano Ronaldo's strike was his tenth in the Liga this season.

Nice 0-3 Paris (Cavani 35, Ibrahimović 44pen 61)
Zlatan Ibrahimović moved clear as Paris's highest goalscorer in Ligue 1 history after taking his tally in the French elite to 87, having also set up the opener for Edinson Cavani.

Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 Karpaty (Eduardo 56, Ismaily 85, Alex Teixeira 88)
The Pitmen made it 11 league wins in a row to ensure they enter the winter break top of the table. Alex Teixeira once again found the target to take his league tally to 22 goals, 17 of which have arrived in the last ten games.

Malmö - the 2015 Allsvenskan season finished on 31 October.

Wolfsburg 1-2 Dortmund (Rodriguez 90+1pen; Reus 32, Kagawa 90+3)
A frantic finish saw the Wolves lose their 29-game unbeaten home run in the league. Ricardo Rodriguez's 91st-minute penalty seemed to have rescued a point for the hosts, but Shinji Kagawa got Dortmund's winner two minutes later.

Manchester United 0-0 West Ham
United are three points off leaders Leicester after failing to find a way past the Hammers at Old Trafford, their third 0-0 draw in seven Premier League home games this season.

Vitesse 0-1 PSV (Hendrix 90)
Jorrit Hendrix's late goal allowed PSV to keep the pressure on Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie. PSV are nine games unbeaten, winning seven, since their matchday three defeat by Wolfsburg.

Amkar 2-0 CSKA Moskva (Alikhan Shavaev 37, Salughin 80)
Despite being guaranteed to enter the winter break top in Russia, Leonid Slutski's men must wait until the 4 March to try to get their next league win after a loss which left them without a victory in their last four domestic outings, losing three.

Group C
Granada 0-2 Atlético (Godín 20, Griezmann 76)
Diego Godín scored his first of the season, and Antoine Griezmann hit his fifth in as many games for Atlético, who are unbeaten in 12 in all competitions, and on a run of six straight wins.

Benfica 3-0 Académica (Jonas 35pen 69pen, Renato Sanches 85)
Benfica made it four league wins without conceding, while Jonas grabbed his ninth and tenth goals in 11 Liga matches this season thanks to a pair of penalties.

Galatasaray 3-0 Bursaspor (Podolski 68, Yasin Öztekin 80, Burak Yılmaz 89)
Galatasaray recorded their first win in four league games with Lukas Podolski and Burak Yılmaz both scoring their seventh in the championship this term.

Astana - the 2015 Kazakh Premier League season ended on 8 November.

Group D
Lazio 0-2 Juventus (Gentiletti 7og, Dybala 32)
Paulo Dybala created the opener before scoring his seventh league goal of the season as Juventus earned their fifth consecutive win in Serie A.

Stoke 2-0 Manchester City (Arnautovic 7 15)
Leading at the start of the weekend, City have failed to win any of their last four away games in the Premier League – failing to score in the last three – after Xherdan Shaqiri twice set up Marko Arnautovic for the Potters, while Fernando limped off injured for the visitors.

Mönchengladbach 3-1 Bayern (Wendt 54, Stindl 66, Johnson 68; Ribéry 81)
The Foals remain unbeaten under André Schubert in the league as they inflicted a first domestic defeat of the term on the leaders and became the first side to score more than once against Bayern in this season's Bundesliga.

Deportivo 1-1 Sevilla (Lucas 22; Iborra 76)
The 2015 UEFA Europa League winners remain unbeaten in three games since matchday five, Vicente Iborra's goal earning them a point on the road. Unai Emery's side nonetheless remain without an away Liga victory since 23 May.

Valencia 1-1 Barcelona (Santi Mina 86; Suárez 59)
Luis Suárez took his tally to 13 in 13 league games for Barcelona this season, but it was not quite enough as a late goal ended his side's seven game winning streak in all competitions. Barcelona's lead at the top of the table is down to two points.

Torino 1-1 Roma (Maxi López 90+4; Pjanić 83)
The Giallorossi's winless Serie A run stretched to three games after they were denied by a 94th-minute penalty from Maxi López. Miralem Pjanić's free-kick – his seventh goal of the campaign – looked to have given his side a first away win since 25 October.

Hertha 2-1 Leverkusen (Darida 7, John Brooks 60; Hernández 29)
Javier Hernández made it 11 goals in his last ten outings for the Werkself in all competitions with an equaliser in Berlin, but Leverkusen – who had Sebastian Boenisch sent off in the 17th minute – lost for the third time in their last five Bundesliga games.

Mönchengladbach 3-1 Bayern (Wendt 54, Stindl 66, Johnson 68; Ribéry 81)
Bayern lost for the first time in the Bundesliga this season – and dropped points for just the second time – with Franck Ribéry's effort on his 300th competitive appearance for the club a small consolation. It was his first game for the club since March.

Panthrakikos 3-4 Olympiacos (Diguiny 15 90+1, Iliadis 87; Durmaz 14, Fortounis 48pen, Finnbogason 66pen, Sebá 80)
Sebá scored his first for the Greek champions, with this victory their 12th in a row since the start of the season, breaking a national record set by their 1966/67 side.

Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland (Campbell 33, Giroud 63, Ramsey 90+3; Giroud 45og)
The Gunners moved up to second in the English table, Olivier Giroud atoning for putting the ball past his own keeper by heading in their second. Theo Walcott played his first game since October and had a hand in Arsenal's third.

Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 Hajduk Split (Junior Fernandes 6, Soudani 90+4; Caktaš 17)
Dinamo replaced Rijeka at the top of the table with El Arabi Hilal Soudani's 94th-minute effort securing an Eternal Derby win, making it seven home league wins on the bounce. It was the Algerian's first league strike since August.

Chelsea 0-1 Bournemouth (Murray 82)
Glenn Murray headed in following a goalmouth scramble to give promoted strugglers Bournemouth a shock win at Stamford Bridge. With John Terry absent for a second successive game, it was Chelsea's fourth home defeat of the season.

Porto 2-1 Paços Ferreira (Corona 29, Layún 64pen; Moreira 8)
Undefeated domestically, Porto made it four wins in a row in the league as they came from behind to see off Paços Ferreira, Miguel Layún's second-half penalty proving the difference.

Metalurh Zaporizhya 0-6 Dynamo Kyiv (Yarmolenko 8, Petrović 22, Garmash 47, Teodorczyk 61, Gusev 86pen 90+2)
Dynamo Kyiv head into the winter break level on points with Shakhtar at the Ukrainian Premier League summit after racking up their biggest league victory of the campaign against winless bottom side Metalurh Zaporizhya.

Hapoel Kfar-Saba 0-0 Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Maccabi's four-game winning lsraeli Premier League run came to a halt after they were held to a goalless draw which allowed Hapoel Beer Sheva to join the leaders on 29 points.

Zenit 1-1 Ufa (Garay 86pen; Zinchenko 36)
André Villas-Boas's side enter the Russian Premier League's three-month winter pause seven points off pacesetters CSKA after a penalty four minutes from time rescued a point. Ezequiel Garay converted five minutes after Axel Witsel had failed from the spot.

Gent 2-2 Zulte Waregem (Kums 39pen, Simon 90+4; Lepoint 22, De Ridder 50)
Gent avoided a second league defeat of the season thanks to a last-gasp Moses Simon goal against a visiting side reduced to ten men through Abdou Diallo's red card on the hour mark.

Valencia 1-1 Barcelona (Santi Mina 86; Suárez 59)
A first Valencia goal from Santi Mina – two days before his 20th birthday – earned a morale-boosting draw against the Liga leaders. Voro was in charge of Valencia as caretaker, with Gary Neville now taking permanent command of the team.

Lyon 0-2 Angers (Cheikh Ndoye 17,81)
Lyon are without a win in five games (D1 L4), with promoted Angers following up their 0-0 draw against Paris with another great result against one of France's top sides, Senegalese midfielder Cheikh Ndoye scoring both goals.
