When you see your players having fun out on the pitch, you're happy. Of course we can still improve a lot of things. In a sport as complex as football, there's always room for improvement. We're in a good moment and we have to take full advantage.

If we hadn't conceded a goal towards the end, Ter Stegen would have been happier and so would the rest of the team, but still it is a positive night for us. Saturday's Clásico wasn't the perfect game and neither was this. There are always things you can improve.

I see the fans enjoying this team. I see the players really wanting to get involved and I see the faces of those who can't participate and they really want to.

We take every game with all seriousness and commitment because we know that in the most important stretch of the season it will be important to create this kind of pressure to get good results. These players are very smart and we know perfectly that we are in the first third [of the season] and the best part is still to come.

We are all aware of the quality Lionel Messi possesses. We have enjoyed watching him for many years and hopefully we will keep on enjoying watching him in the years to come. It's very good for the team to have them up front [Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez]. They make our entire team better. It looks like [Suárez] has been playing for years at Barcelona. He has shown he is capable of transforming his style of play to fit ours.

The good news arrived before kick-off when BATE and Bayer Leverkusen could only manage a draw. We needed a miracle to win tonight and we didn't get one. Barcelona are an unbeatable machine and they're in form. I'm not worried. We don't like to lose, obviously, and the boys are upset, but Barcelona are the best there is right now.

Edin Džeko could have scored early on and we should have closed down the space better, but it wouldn't have changed the result. I have nothing to blame my players for, aside from the fact we could have scored a few goals in the first half. We're angry we lost in this manner, but now we need to think purely about beating Atalanta and then [BATE] Borisov.
