Why did you decide to be a goalkeeper?
Iker Casillas: I've enjoyed it since I was a young kid and also due to the fact my father never wanted to play in that position when we played together!
Most talented player you have ever played with?
Casillas: I always loved watching Zinédine Zidane.
What tips can you give me to become a great goalkeeper?
Casillas: You need to be mentally very strong. Being a goalkeeper involves a lot of risk, courage and intelligence.
Funniest player in the Porto dressing room?
Casillas: Helton. He's always laughing and it rubs off on the rest of the team.
Best striker you have ever faced?
Casillas: Lionel Messi. It has always been Messi. I've played against him a lot in the Real Madrid–Barcelona matches.
Favourite save?
Casillas: Those saves I made against Leverkusen [in the 2002 UEFA Champions League final] and also the one in the World Cup final, when I prevented Arjen Robben from scoring.
Who was your idol growing up?
Casillas: Peter Schmeichel
Name your top five goalkeepers ever ...
Casillas: Schmeichel, Vítor Baía, Gianluigi Buffon, Oliver Kahn and Santiago Cañizares.
Best goal you've ever conceded?
Casillas: I don't remember any because I get so angry every single time I concede one.
