Bayern München recorded a routine UEFA Champions League victory as they put five past Dinamo Zagreb to move top of Group F with maximum points, Robert Lewandowski continuing his remarkable scoring run with another hat-trick.
Bayern's most lively player in the opening stages, Douglas Costa broke the deadlock for the Bavarian side inside 13 minutes. The Brazilian winger picked up the ball on the left before darting into the box, gliding past Alexandru Măţel and slotting past Eduardo at the near post.
The first goal opened the floodgates for Josep Guardiola's team, as Thiago Alcántara capitalised on a Filip Benković mistake, counterattacking quickly and feeding Lewandowski for his first UEFA Champions League goal of the season.
Things quickly got even worse for Zoran Mamić's visitors, whose long unbeaten run already looked like coming to an end. Sure enough it was soon three, Mario Götze playing a one-two with Kingsley Coman and Eduardo unable to keep out the shot.
It was 4-0 before half-time as Lewandowski got his second of the night, latching onto Costa's corner. His powerful effort bounced down off the underside of the crossbar and was adjudged to has crossed the line.
Lewandowski made it five early in the second half, completing his hat-trick and Bayern's win by scooping the ball over Eduardo to take his tally over the past week to ten goals in three games.

Matchday one belonged to Thomas Müller, but it was Lewandowki's name on everyone's lips again tonight, as the Poland striker continued his scoring streak with a clinical hat-trick. He seems to score with every chance at the moment.
Injuries no longer a problem for Bayern
Guardiola bemoaned Bayern's injury problems last term, but that no longer appears to be an issue. Even without the injured Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry, the Bayern coach can afford to leave a world-class attacker like Müller on the bench and still see his side score five goals. Costa has been deadly on the left wing, Götze continues to perform when called upon, and Coman and Joshua Kimmich also look good fits in the Bayern squad.
Dinamo run shattered
After an impressive 45-match unbeaten run, Dinamo Zagreb were finally reminded how it feels to lose. They will no doubt rue costly errors in the first half, but ultimately Bayern were too strong for them on the night.
