Bale happy but feels Madrid should have won

Gareth Bale felt Real Madrid CF "should have won" their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at Club Atlético de Madrid but after the 0-0 draw he reflected: "The most important thing from the away leg is we are still in the tie ... the important thing is we didn't concede."

However, as Real Madrid failed to beat their neighbours and 2014 final victims for the seventh time this season, Bale mused: "I thought we should have won. Especially in the first half we played the best against Atlético we have in a little while."
