Having already taken in New York and Dallas, the 2015 UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, presented by Heineken, completed its journey around the United States by visiting Los Angeles.
And where better in the 'City of Angels' than Hollywood, a place synonymous with glamour, stars and red-carpet premieres, to bring down the curtain on a thrilling tour for European football fans across America.
Former winners Míchel Salgado and Fernando Morientes joined 'Ol Big Ears' on the west coast, and the ex-Real Madrid CF players quickly experienced life in front of the lens, with live television appearances.
Morientes – who scored 99 times for Madrid including a goal against Valencia CF in the 2000 UEFA Champions League final – then talked Los Blancos, Michael Laudrup and dreams of playing in Mexico in a live Facebook Q&A hosted by the UEFA Champions League Facebook page.
Salgado, himself a two-time winner of the competition, was happy to occupy the hot seat for a live #AskSalgado session with fans on Twitter.
The main event took place in a Hollywood studio, where Morientes held a photo and signing session for excited fans – dominated by Real Madrid's Los Angeles supporters club.
Alongside actor James Marsden and ex-United States international Cobi Jones, fans also got the chance to try out the entertainment on offer.
With UEFA Champions League memorabilia, a Cristiano Ronaldo heading challenge and virtual reality headsets, there was plenty to see and do when supporters were having their photograph taken with the main draw: the coveted UEFA Champions League trophy.
