Right-back Danilo, who scored FC Porto's 79th-minute equaliser against FC Basel 1893, praised his team-mates for "dictating the play" throughout their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg – even after falling behind to Derlis Gonzalez's 11th-minute opener.
"I think we played well," he said. "Even counting the goal, which wasn't something we'd planned for, we were able to react well and control the match. That was important for us to be able to get the draw." Danilo also applauded hosts Basel, adding: "They are a team who fight, without a doubt, and they never give up on a challenge."
