TUESDAY
Group A
Olympiacos FC v Malmö FF
• Olympiacos are aiming to complete a clean sweep of home wins in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time since 2009/10, having already beaten Club Atlético de Madrid (3-2) and Juventus (1-0).

Juventus v Club Atlético de Madrid
• Juventus are unbeaten in nine home matches in UEFA competition, including Group A victories over Malmö (2-0) and Olympiacos (3-2). The Bianconeri have lost just one of 14 European home fixtures at the redeveloped Juventus Stadium (W8 D5 L1).

Group B
Liverpool FC v FC Basel 1893
• This match falls almost ten years to the day since Liverpool last played a win-or-bust final group game at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League. On 8 December 2004 they came from behind to beat Olympiacos 3-1, Steven Gerrard scoring their third goal, and went on to lift the trophy.

Real Madrid CF v PFC Ludogorets Razgrad
• Madrid's 1-0 victory over Liverpool on matchday four was their tenth straight home success in the UEFA Champions League, two fewer than the competition record set by Manchester United FC between 13 September 2006 and 29 April 2008.

Group C
AS Monaco FC v FC Zenit
• Monaco's home record against Russian clubs is W1 L2; similarly, Zenit's record in France is W1 L2.

SL Benfica v Bayer 04 Leverkusen
• Benfica edged both legs of the teams' 2012/13 UEFA Europa League round of 32 tie – 1-0 in the Rhineland through Óscar Cardozo's brilliant finish and 2-1 at home – and also ousted Leverkusen on away goals in the 1993/94 European Cup Winners' Cup quarter-finals.

Group D
Galatasaray AŞ v Arsenal FC
• The sides' sole previous meeting before Arsenal's 4-1 triumph on matchday two came in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup final in Copenhagen. Galatasaray prevailed 4-1 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes, becoming the first Turkish team to win a UEFA competition.

Borussia Dortmund v RSC Anderlecht
• Dortmund have won seven of their last eight home games in the group stage, losing one.

WEDNESDAY
Group E
AS Roma v Manchester City FC
• Roma have won their last three home matches against Premier League opposition while City have never held sway in Italy, where their record reads W0 D2 L2.

FC Bayern München v PFC CSKA Moskva
• Bayern defeated CSKA 3-0 when the clubs faced off in Munich on 17 September last year, with David Alaba and Arjen Robben among the scorers.

Group F
FC Barcelona v Paris Saint-Germain
• Barcelona's only victory in six encounters with Paris was their 1-0 success in the 1996/97 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final. Luis Enrique played for Barcelona that night but Laurent Blanc, then a Barça player, did not feature.

AFC Ajax v APOEL FC
• Winless after five fixtures, Ajax want to avoid an unwanted first as they have never finished a UEFA Champions League group without at least one victory. The Amsterdammers have lost their last three Group F games. They last suffered three straight defeats in a European campaign in the 2003/04 UEFA Champions League group phase; they have never lost four in a row.

Group G
Chelsea FC v Sporting Clube de Portugal
• Chelsea have won their last seven matches against Portuguese sides, all by a single goal. On matchday two former Benfica midfielder Nemanja Matić marked his return to Lisbon with the only goal of the night, ending Sporting's 16-game unbeaten home run in Europe. Sporting have won just one of their last 17 European away fixtures, 2-0 at FC Zürich in 2011/12.

NK Maribor v FC Schalke 04
• Maribor have never beaten German opponents in five previous European encounters. Apart from the 1-1 draw at Schalke on 30 September they scored in only one of those assignments: a 2-1 reverse at Dortmund in the 1993/94 UEFA Cup second round. The Slovenian champions are, however, unbeaten in seven European home matches.

Group H
FC Porto v FC Shakhtar Donetsk
• Porto won both 2011/12 group stage meetings between the teams, 2-1 at home and 2-0 away. The clubs' other tussles came in the 1983/84 European Cup Winners' Cup quarter-finals. António Morais's Porto battled back from 2-0 down to edge the home leg 3-2 before drawing 1-1 with Viktor Nosov's Shakhtar.

Athletic Club v FC BATE Borisov
• The 2-0 defeat by Porto on matchday four means Athletic have lost two of their last 17 European home games, winning eight. BATE, meanwhile, have conceded four goals in three of their four visits to Spain, most recently in the 2012/13 group phase when they went down 4-2 at Valencia CF.
