Miroslav Radović scored twice as Legia Warszawa secured an emphatic victory against Saint Patrick's Athletic FC to ease into the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

It was Radović who scored a last-gasp equaliser in Poland last week to ensure both sides remained all square going into the decisive second leg. The Serbian was in on the act again in Dublin, netting a goal in each half, with Michał Żyro, Marek Saganowski and a Conan Byrne own goal adding gloss to the scoreline.

In a first half of few opportunities, the visitors took a significant step towards qualification when Radović fired in from close range on 25 minutes after Żyro found him with a precise through ball.

Keith Fahey came close to giving the hosts a well-worked equaliser, forcing Dušan Kuciak into a smart save after dribbling his way past a couple of Legia's defenders. However, that was as good as it got for the Irish side as the Polish champions turned on the style after the break.

After going close eight minutes earlier, Żyro squeezed his shot past Brendan Clarke on 69 minutes to double the visitors' advantage. Radović then added his second and his team's third after good link-up play with Ondrej Duda on 82 minutes, before substitute Saganowski slotted into the bottom corner soon after coming on.

Legia got a fifth deep into added time after Byrne inadvertently put the ball into his own net. The Polish outfit will face Scottish champions Celtic in the first leg of the third qualifying round next week.
