FC Sheriff secured their place in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round with a comfortable second-leg victory against ten-man FK Sutjeska.
Fred Benson's early opener and captain Luvannor Henrique's 35th-minute second sandwiched a red card for Sutjeska forward Goran Vujović as the contest was put to bed before half-time. Ismail Isa, on target in last week's 2-0 first-leg win, struck again after the break.
Any concerns the visitors may have had in defending their advantage were quashed when Cadu's free-kick was headed back across goal by Ligger Moreira for Benson to score. The Montenegrin hosts' night then went from bad to worse when Vujović was dismissed for a challenge on Marcel Metoua after 11 minutes.
Henrique calmly doubled the Tiraspol side's lead on the night after cutting out Nikola Stijepović's errant pass and racing through to beat goalkeeper Ivan Janjušević. He turned provider for the third ten minutes into the second half, capping a purposeful run down the right with a cross that Isa tucked away.
Sheriff will take on the winners of the tie between ŠK Slovan Bratislava and The New Saints FC, with their first leg away from home next week.
