UEFA Champions League hopefuls LOSC Lille have made their first signing of the summer by bringing in former France Under-21 defender Sébastien Corchia from relegated FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
The deal for the 23-year-old was agreed earlier this year but has now been ratified with the former Le Mans UC 72 right-back penning a four-year contract. Corchia made 33 Ligue 1 appearance as Sochaux slipped out of the top tier but he now swaps Les Lionceaux for a LOSC outfit that finished third last season and start their UEFA Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round.
"I'm happy to be back here with all clear this time," he said. "I already had a good feeling here in January and, in spite of additional proposals from more clubs at the end of the season, my mind was made up."
