Manchester City FC could be without talismanic striker Sergio Agüero for their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against FC Barcelona.
Agüero, who is City's leading scorer this season with 19 goals in all competitions, picked up a calf injury in their 6-3 victory over Premier League leaders Arsenal FC on Saturday. The Argentina forward was initially ruled out for four weeks, but manager Manuel Pellegrini has since suggested the 25-year-old could be facing a two-month absence.
"The doctor has said he has at least one month or eight weeks," Pellegrini said after Tuesday's 3-1 win at Leicester City FC in the League Cup quarter-finals. "I don't know how many weeks but it will be at least one month. It is very difficult to know at this moment."
City, who finished second behind holders FC Bayern München in UEFA Champions League Group D, host Barcelona on 18 February, with the Camp Nou return set for 12 March.
