Czech international David Limberský said he is targeting a return for FC Viktoria Plzeň's final two UEFA Champions League Group D games after being ruled out with a thigh injury.
The 29-year-old defender picked up the knock during Friday's 2-1 win at FC Vysočina Jihlava and tests have revealed a ruptured muscle that is expected to keep him out for six weeks. "I am really disappointed that I will not be able to help my team in the upcoming Champions League and Czech league games," he rued. "I will do all I can to be back by the end of the autumn season to play at least the last two Champions League group games."
Limberský has played every minute of Plzeň's European campaign so far this term, starting in the second qualifying round against FK Željezničar in July.
