The UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, presented by UniCredit, begins its journey around Europe on Friday, starting with a trip to Berlin.
The biggest prize in club football will travel to Germany this week, giving fans in the capital the chance to have their picture taken with the trophy in Dorothee Platz and to meet tour ambassadors Fabio Capello and Karl-Heinz Riedle. Former SV Werder Bremen, SS Lazio and Borussia Dortmund forward Rielde will also participate in a Google+ hangout on Friday which you can see live on the recently launched UEFA Champions League page.
'Old Big Ears' will then visit Budapest, Hungary, where supporters will be able to pose for photos in Felvonulasi Square and catch up with Steve McManaman and Christian Karembeu. The two ex-Real Madrid CF midfielders will also take part in a Google+ hangout, allowing fans from around the world the opportunity to ask the former UEFA Champions League winners a question.
George Enescu Square in the Romanian capital Bucharest will be the trophy tour's next destination, where ambassador Miodrag Belodedici will be on hand to greet the fans. The trophy will also take in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina before the final stop of its autumn expedition in Bulgaria's capital city Sofia.
