Milan renew Robinho contract

AC Milan have received a boost ahead of the new campaign with the news that Robinho has signed a new contract that will keep the forward at San Siro until June 2016.

AC Milan have renewed the contract of Brazilian forward Robinho keeping him at the San Siro until June 2016.

The 29-year-old former Real Madrid CF and Manchester City FC player, capped 90 times by Brazil, joined the Rossoneri in 2010 and has scored 22 times in 85 Serie A outings, helping them to the Scudetto in 2010/11.

Robinho has appeared 18 times in the UEFA Champions League for Milan scoring three times for the club who will enter this season's competition at the play-off stage after finishing third in Serie A last term.
