Already missing defender Carles Puyol for their quarter-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain FC, FC Barcelona will also be without Adriano because of a hamstring tear.

FC Barcelona's defensive concerns continue to mount ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain FC with the news full-back Adriano is out of the tie with a hamstring tear.

The Brazilian international started Sunday's 3-1 Liga victory at home to Rayo Vallecano de Madrid but was forced off after 23 minutes. Subsequent tests on his right leg confirmed a muscle tear which means the 28-year-old will be out of action for up to six weeks. Barça captain and central defender Carles Puyol was recently sidelined for around two months after undergoing knee surgery.

The Blaugrana visit PSG for their quarter-final first leg on 2 April before hosting Carlo Ancelotti's side at Camp Nou eight days later.
