Hjulmand rues missed Nordsjælland opportunity

Even FC Nordsjælland's first group stage point failed to fully satisfy Kasper Hjulmand who felt "we could have got more" against a Juventus side who have drawn all three Group E games.

Kasper Hjulmand, Nordsjælland coach
We could have got more out of the match if we had of kept playing during their pressure. After playing well in the first half, I don't think we threatened them enough in the second. However, considering their pressure – their equaliser was inevitable – we are happy to be off the mark now.

Angelo Alessio, Juventus assistant coach
When you have so many chances, it is always disappointing not to win. In the first half we didn't play with the right approach, while in the second half we had the right fighting spirit and we created plenty of chances. We had to be more determined in front of goal, but I still think the performance was good in the second half.

Our opponents had good possession in the first half, while in the second half we put them in trouble, but unfortunately didn't manage to score more than one goal. Their goalkeeper [Jesper Hansen] made many good saves. Now we have to win our next game at home and try to earn good results against Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea. We can't afford anymore mistakes. We deserved to win tonight, but when you don't manage to score with so many chances you have to accept the [end] result.
