Paris Saint-Germain FC have "reached an agreement" with São Paulo FC for the transfer of their coveted Brazilian international midfielder Lucas Moura.
The Ligue 1 outfit – who so far this summer have signed Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimović – released a statement saying the player will join the club in January on a contract running until July 2017. No details of the fee have been disclosed for Lucas, who turns 20 on Monday.
Lucas, part of the Brazil Under-23 squad that has reached the final of the Olympic football tournament, has scored 14 times in 58 league appearances for São Paulo following his debut in August 2010. His solitary goal in 15 international outings came in a friendly against Argentina 11 months ago.
PSG, who will participate in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season, begin their domestic campaign at home to FC Lorient on Saturday.
