FC Nordsjælland have recruited winger Joshua John on a one-year loan from FC Twente.
The Farum club, who begin their maiden UEFA Champions League campaign in the group stage following a first Danish title last term, have the option of making the deal permanent next summer. John, 23, featured four times in the Eredivisie in 2011/12 following his mid-season arrival from Sparta Rotterdam, where he scored 13 times in 114 league outings.
"I have a good feeling about this," said John, who started both legs of Twente's UEFA Europa League first qualifying round tie last month against FC Santa Coloma. "It is a new experience and a new country. I am looking forward to developing in the Danish league and the chance to play in the Champions League is a bonus."
