Turkish title holders Galatasaray AŞ have bolstered their ranks ahead of this season's UEFA Champions League group stage by signing Kayserispor forward Nordin Amrabat on a five-year contract for a reported fee of €8m.
The 25-year-old Moroccan international, who can play on both the right and left flanks, struck six goals in 39 league outings for Kayserispor after joining the Turkish side from PSV Eindhoven in January 2011. As part of his move to Galatasaray, PSV will receive €600,000.
Amrabat began his football education in AFC Ajax's youth academy but made his professional debut with lower-tier side FC Omniworld in 2006/07. He signed for VVV-Venlo the following season and stayed a year before signing for PSV, where he racked up nine goals in 56 Eredivisie appearances.
Capped nine times by Morocco, he is now gearing up to represent his country at the 2012 Olympic Games as one of the squad's over-age players.
