We spoilt our first-half performance after creating four clear chances, but we were unable to profit from them. We conceded cheap goals after the restart, but proved our determination and took a risk. We even sent the goalkeeper up front and it paid dividends. I am glad that we finally scored against a big club. I planned to earn five points before the start, so I am satisfied. We now look forward to the Europa League.

Massimiliano Allegri, Milan coach
We are very angry. We were 2-0 up and could have scored a third on several occasions. What makes me angry is that we played with complacency in the final minutes and gave away an easy goal to reopen the match. Then there is an obvious risk when your opponents push forward, and we conceded another. Let's hope the lesson will be useful in the future.

We didn't play well in the first half; our defensive line was completely new as I wanted to try some different options. We did well in the second half, scoring two goals and creating many others. At least I hope that everybody in the team understood that in football you have to play with grit for 90 minutes or more. Today's game was clear evidence of it. We had to win this game, the positive aspect is that I'm sure we will not repeat this mistake in the near future.
