LOSC Lille Métropole players are looking forward to a decisive matchday six fixture against Trabzonspor AŞ after Eden Hazard inspired a fine 2-0 win at PFC CSKA Moskva. All three of those teams remain in contention, although the Army Men need to triumph away to Group B winners FC Internazionale Milano and hope the game in northern France is drawn.

Eden Hazard, Lille midfielder
It was very important for us to win today. We didn't start the competition as well as we may have wanted, but we managed to get a win here. Coming into today's game there were still two matches to go. Today was like a semi-final for us. We have managed to win this game, and now we will go into what will be our final against Trabzonspor, when we have to make sure we are victorious in order to keep our hopes of progressing alive.

The whole team played a good match. We had chances to score early on, which would have given us a really big boost. Unfortunately we didn't manage to do this, despite creating a lot of chances, but it didn't matter in the end as we were able to score twice in the second half and win the game. We played really well today and it was vital to get all three points to keep our hopes of qualifying alive.

Mickaël Landreau, Lille goalkeeper
We had everything to lose coming into the game and we knew we needed a victory if we wanted to qualify. I think we deserved the victory because we were in control of the match. I thought the defence played really well today and we had a lot of chances. As I said, we deserved to win and our aim was to have what will be a final in Lille for our next match. We have managed to achieve this, but this final will not be an easy game.

We knew that it would not be an easy game because CSKA have a lot of quality and coming to Russia in this kind of weather is never easy. It was a fantastic performance by the whole team and I am absolutely delighted that we managed to win tonight.

Aleksei Berezutski, CSKA defender
I must say that this defeat is a hard pill to swallow, but it was deserved. Lille were the better side and they created a lot of chances around our area. In the first half we were perhaps a bit lucky, but after the break our opponents managed to take their chances. Of course the fact that we had so many players out did hamper us, but that is not an excuse for the performance of the players who were on the pitch today especially as we were playing at home. The last thing we were expecting was to lose at home.
