FC Internazionale Milano centre-back Lúcio will sit out his side's final UEFA Champions League Group B game, at home to PFC CSKA Moskva on 7 December, after sustaining a thigh strain during Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Trabzonspor AŞ.
The Brazil defender suffered a second-degree strain of the adductor muscle in his left thigh after playing all 90 minutes of the encounter at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu, which sealed top spot in the section for Claudio Ranieri's charges.
The 33-year-old former FC Bayern München player, who has not missed a minute of Inter's first five European matches, is expected to be out of action for approximately one month.
The Nerazzurri cannot be displaced from the group summit after accumulating ten points, but the absence of the experienced stopper will be sorely felt in a stuttering league campaign which finds Inter fifth from bottom in Serie A after ten games.
