Walter Mazzarri, Napoli coach
We were facing an insanely strong team so we are happy with the draw. We played well and I think the result was fair. Bayern can do anything when in possession and they are very strong physically – you can feel that when they press.
It's not easy to maintain possession against them. They're really in top form right now but it's not a surprise, after all I think they've scored 25 goals and conceded just one in their last ten games. We scored one and we could have scored another so I'm pleased with our performance.
When we struggled in the early stages I thought about changing to a back four, especially because they only had one forward in the centre, but we slowly managed to find the right balance so I stayed with a three-man defence as we are more used to playing this way. The group is still very balanced; it's a really great group.
Jupp Heynckes, Bayern coach
It was a good performance from us and we were in control, so a win wouldn't have been undeserved. Napoli are a dangerous team and you always have to be vigilant against them but we didn't allow them a single chance until the equaliser. Then there was a spell of six to eight minutes where we didn't look good, but in the second half we were on top again. The goal we conceded was unlucky but we can make mistakes too. They're footballers, but also humans.
