Udinese Calcio have signed defender Neuton from Grêmio Foot-ball Porto Alegrense for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old, whose full name is Sergio Piccoli Neuton, has penned a five-year deal with Francesco Guidolin's side, who hope to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage via next month's play-offs after finishing fourth in Serie A last term.
Neuton, a versatile centre-half who can also play at left-back, is the second Brazilian defender to sign for the Friulani this summer after Danilo Larangeira completed a move from SE Palmeiras. Udinese have also brought in Abdoul Wahid Sissoko from AS Troyes EC and Thierry Doubai from BSC Young Boys.
