Valencia CF have signed Spanish Under-21 international Daniel Parejo on a five-year deal from Getafe CF as they continue their preparations for next season's UEFA Champions League group stage.

Parejo, currently representing Spain at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Denmark, joins Valencia having made over 60 league appearances in two seasons at Getafe. The former Real Madrid CF forward, 22, joins France defender Adil Rami and Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Alves in moving to Valencia ahead of the 2011/12 season.

Goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Moyà, who has featured in just 12 Liga games in two years at Mestalla, has moved in the opposite direction on a season-long loan deal.
