Tottenham Hotspur FC defender Jonathan Woodgate could face another spell on the sidelines after straining his left adductor muscle in Tuesday's win at AC Milan.
The 31-year-old centre-back had not appeared since November 2009 due to a persistent groin problem but came on for the final half-hour at San Siro in place of the injured Vedran Ćorluka. Despite finishing the match, Woodgate suffered another setback and according to a club statement "will now be assessed over the coming days".
