FC Bayern München could be forced to negotiate their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against holders FC Internazionale Milano without Franck Ribéry.
The French international winger has been absent since sustaining knee ligament damage in the 1-1 draw at VfL Wolfsburg on 15 January. Bayern initially expected the 27-year-old to be out for only two weeks, but have since confirmed that the "healing process has been delayed. It makes no sense to announce a [return] date". Bayern visit San Siro on 23 February in a repeat of last season's final, with the home return on 15 March.
