Valencia CF are expected to field third-choice goalkeeper Vicente Guaita away to Manchester United FC next week after Miguel Ángel Moyà joined No1 César Sánchez on the sidelines.

Enjoying a run in Unai Emery's side because of the calf injury which has kept César Sánchez out since 8 November, the 26-year-old Moyà sustained a thigh injury during last week's 6-1 UEFA Champions League victory against Bursaspor and now faces up to two months out.

Guaita, 23, deputised in last night's 2-1 Liga victory against UD Almería and looks set to start at Old Trafford on 7 December where a victory would enable Valencia to leapfrog United at the Group C summit. Both teams have already qualified for the 17 December draw for the knockout rounds.
