Vladimír Weiss and Maurice Edu are both injury doubts ahead of Rangers FC's UEFA Champions League Group C outing at Valencia CF on Tuesday.
The two players were substituted at half-time during the 1-1 draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC on Saturday, a result which ended their 100% start to the season. The 20-year-old Slovakian winger Weiss is carrying a heel injury while Edu, who scored the opener against the Highlanders and at both ends in Matchday 3's 1-1 draw with Valencia at Ibrox, has a calf complaint.
"Edu took a bad kick on the calf during the first half and Vladimír has a bit of a heel injury," said manager Walter Smith. "We'll see how the players are, but at this stage both are very doubtful for Tuesday's game." Rangers are second in Group C with five points from three matches and Valencia lie a point further back.
