Tottenham Hotspur FC won their first home UEFA Champions League group fixture 4-1 against FC Twente, leaving manager Harry Redknapp to say: "If people can't enjoy that, they can't enjoy anything."Michel Preud'homme felt his side could have come back against ten men when they were 2-1 down in the Group A encounter but said finishing was the difference.

Harry Redknapp, Tottenham manager
We got off to a great start in the second half, got the two quick goals and I just felt we got a little bit sloppy for a spell, people running with the ball instead of passing early. They came back in with a goal and then we had Rafael [van der Vaart] sent off.

It looked as though it could be a very difficult end to the game but we ended up scoring another two so it was a fantastic performance. It's a good start, but there's still a long way to go, there's still a lot of tough games. Inter home and away are two tough games. It was a great performance tonight to win 4-1. You can't ask for more than that. If people can't enjoy that, they can't enjoy anything.

Michel Preud'homme, Twente coach
We played very well in the first half and deserved the best opportunity through Bryan Ruiz. Then there is the penalty that was stopped very well by Nikolay Mihaylov. After the break we were soon 2-0 behind, but soon after pulled one back and with 11 against ten you always have a chance. The third penalty was decisive.

The difference today was that they, unlike us, were able to take the chances they got. We hoped to draw weaker opponents than Tottenham from Pot 3. Still we did also try to play positive football. We will continue to do that.
