FC Spartak Moskva striker Welliton is out for three weeks after limping off with a hamstring injury in Tuesday's 3-0 victory against MŠK Žilina in Group F.
The 23-year-old was replaced by Ibson midway through the second half and is already a doubt for Spartak's home game against Chelsea FC on 19 October. "Welliton's injury is the only blot on tonight," coach Valeri Karpin said after his side moved to six points from two UEFA Champions League outings. "He has apparently ruptured his hamstring and that means three weeks on the sidelines, minimum." Welliton has scored 16 goals in 20 league matches this season.
