Six teams continued perfect starts in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League Matchday 2 fixtures – watch all the night's action.
In two of the groups a pair of teams are already on six points, including both London teams in action tonight. First-half goals from John Terry and Nicolas Anelka gave Chelsea FC a 2-0 Group F win against Olympique de Marseille while in the early game in that section, FC Spartak Moskva secured their second victory by beating MŠK Žilina 3-0 with Ari on target twice.
Arsenal FC top Group H, having scored nine goals already, following their 3-1 win at FK Partizan in a game that had three penalties, only one of which was converted. FC Shakhtar Donetsk are also on maximum points thanks to a 3-0 victory at SC Braga, who like Žilina are finding their debut campaign tough.
FC Bayern München are yet to drop a point in Group E but the 2009/10 runners-up had to come from behind to win 2-1 at FC Basel 1893, the second of Bastian Schweinsteiger's goals coming on 89 minutes. AS Roma defeated CFR 1907 Cluj 2-1 to reverse the scoreline from when they met in 2008 and join the Romanian champions on three points.
The sixth side on as many points are Real Madrid CF though they needed an 81st-minute goal from substitute Ángel Di María for victory at AJ Auxerre. AC Milan are two points behind following a 1-1 draw at AFC Ajax, who were denied a win by old boy Zlatan Ibrahimović, continuing his flying start for the Rossoneri.
