FC Spartak Moskva have signed FC Terek Grozny No1 Andriy Dykan, while allowing goalkeeper Soslan Dzhanaev to move the other way.

Dykan has committed to a two-year contract with the capital club having made 18 league appearances for Terek this season. The 33-year-old, who made his debut for Ukraine in a friendly against Norway in June, was not involved as Terek defeated Spartak 2-0 on Saturday. "Spartak's offer was like a bolt from the blue," explained Dykan, who joined Terek from FC Tavriya Simferopol in his homeland 18 months ago. "I expected to finish this season at Terek and never thought about moving. You don't get opportunities to play in the UEFA Champions League every day."

Dzhanaev, meanwhile, has joined Terek on a two-and-half-year loan. The 23-year-old featured 12 times in the league in the first half of the season but has not made an appearance since a 1-0 loss to FC Rubin Kazan on 17 July. Spartak will play Chelsea FC, Olympique de Marseille and MŠK Žilina in UEFA Champions League Group F.
