SC Braga's preparations for their UEFA Champions League debut have continued apace with the signings of Brazilian defenders Léo Fortunato and Eduardo, and Senegalese striker Ladji Keita.
The 27-year-old Fortunato has arrived from EC Cruzeiro on a one-season deal with the option of a further three. Compatriot Eduardo, 21, has joined from CR Botafogo on a three-year contract and is "excited about this huge step in my career". The sentiments were echoed by the 27-year-old Keita, who moves from Braga's Liga rivals Vitória FC having scored ten goals in 27 league games last season.
The 2009/10 Portuguese runners-up have been busy rebuilding this summer, with the latest trio of signings joining three other newcomers at the picturesque Estádio Municipal: Spanish forward José Collado, Nigerian defender Uwa Echiéjilé and striker Leandro Salino. Braga enter the UEFA Champions League in the third qualifying round at the end of July.
