Spanish Cup winners Sevilla FC have completed the signing of central midfielder Tiberio Guarente from Atalanta BC on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old started his career at Atalanta but spent three seasons on loan at Hellas-Verona FC before returning to the Bergamo club in 2007. He made 92 Serie A appearances over the past three seasons for Atalanta, but despite catching the eye last term was unable to prevent them being relegated to Serie B.
