A few weeks after being crowned as champions in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia for the first time, FK Renova have parted company with their coach Vlatko Kostov.
Renova, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round on 13/14 and 20/21 July, could not agree a new deal with the 44-year-old coach, who explained: "Simply, we could not reach an agreement for me to continue. The club could not meet my demands and I could not accept their offer. At the end we decided to go our seperate ways."
Kostov had spent three years with the club from the village of Dzepciste, near Tetotvo. His replacement is former FK Sloga Jugomagnat player and coach Nedzat Sabani, who was in charge of Renova in the second division in 2004. The draw for the UEFA Champions League first and second qualifying rounds will take place on 21 June.
