FC Internazionale Milano's Wesley Sneijder has emerged as a doubt for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final decider against FC Barcelona.
Sneijder, scorer of Inter's equaliser in their 3-1 first-leg success at San Siro, suffered a thigh strain during the Nerazzurri's 3-1 win against Atalanta BC on Saturday. The 25-year-old "will be examined closely in the next 48 hours," read a statement on Inter's website. The Netherlands playmaker, who signed from Real Madrid CF last summer, also struck the only goal of Inter's triumph over PFC CSKA Moskva in the quarter-final second leg.
José Mourinho also has injury concerns over Francesco Toldo (leg), Davide Santon, (knee), Maicon (tooth) and Goran Pandev (thigh), while Josep Guardiola will once again be without Andrés Iniesta, who missed the trip to Milan with a tear to his right thigh.
