AC Milan right-back Massimo Oddo will not play again this year because of a left thigh strain sustained during the Rossoneri's 1-1 draw with Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday.
Two-month absence
The 33-year-old was replaced by Ignazio Abate 28 minutes into the UEFA Champions League fixture at San Siro and is expected to be sidelined for between 40-60 days, ruling him out of Milan's final Group C fixture at FC Zürich on 8 December. The Serie A outfit are two points behind section leaders Real Madrid CF but one ahead of Marseille and will guarantee their place in the draw for the last 16 by winning in Switzerland.
