With the transfer window now shut across Europe,uefa.com rounds up all the moves involving clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The holders FC Barcelona have announced the signing of Ukraine defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy from UEFA Cup winners FC Shakhtar Donetsk in a €25m deal. The 22-year-old has accepted a five-year contract at Camp Nou after passing a medical on Monday, the centre-back having played his last game for Shakhtar against the European champions in Friday's UEFA Super Cup in Monaco. "I'm lucky to be here and I hope to win a place in this great team," said Chygrynskiy, capped 19 times by Ukraine.

VfB Stuttgart have landed Serbian international midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanović from ACF Fiorentina in a deal thought to be worth €8m. The 21-year-old Swiss-born player will have a four-year contract with the Bundesliga side. "VfB are a club of great tradition, with super facilities and a hungry team," said the former FC Basel 1893 youngster, whose Fiorentina career spanned 70 Serie A appearances over two and a half seasons.

Fiorentina, meanwhile, have filled a gap in their midfield ranks with the acquisition of the attack-minded Savio Nsereko from West Ham United FC. No details of the transfer have been disclosed, but defender Manuel Da Costa moves to the Premier League outfit in part-exchange. German youth international Savio, 20, only joined West Ham in January from Brescia Calcio, making ten top-flight outings. Centre-back Da Costa, 23, spent last season on loan at UC Sampdoria.

Juventus have brought Italian international Fabio Grosso back to Serie A, recruiting the left-back from Olympique Lyonnais for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old former AC Perugia and US Città di Palermo player has signed a three-year contract with the Bianconeri. A FIFA World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, he joined Lyon from FC Internazionale Milano two summers ago, going on to register 54 Ligue 1 appearances.

Scottish champions Rangers FC have made their first signing of the summer after confirming the arrival of French international winger Jérôme Rothen from Paris Saint-Germain FC on a season-long loan. The 31-year-old was due to join Bundesliga outfit FC Schalke 04, but when the deal collapsed on Monday night the Ibrox club moved quickly to secure a 12-month loan for the player who was part of the AS Monaco FC side that lost the 2004 UEFA Champions League final to FC Porto.

R. Standard de Liège have made a double swoop on the Brazilian top flight with the addition of defenders Felipe Trevizan Martins and Victor Ramos from Coritiba FBC and EC Vitória respectively. Felipe, 22, and Ramos, 20, will both provide cover at centre-back at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne after penning five-year deals with the Belgian champions.

There is another Brazilian on the move in Turkey where Beşiktaş JK have taken playmaker Rodrigo Tabata from Super League rivals Gaziantepspor for €8m. The former Santos FC favourite, 28, has signed a three-year contract after attracting plaudits in his first campaign in Turkey last term, scoring eleven goals in 26 league outings.

PFC CSKA Moskva, meanwhile, have bolstered their ranks by bringing in Brazilian striker Guilherme Milhomem Gusmão on loan from FC Dynamo Kyiv and 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder Sekou Oliseh, nephew of former BV Borussia Dortmund's Sunday, from FC Midtjylland.

Tournament debutants Debreceni VSC have been particularly busy, strengthening their squad with the addition of four players. The Hungarian titleholders have secured the loan signing of 23-year-old striker Róbert Feczesin from Brescia Calcio for the remainder of the season, while his international team-mate, 27-year-old defensive midfielder Zoltán Szélesi, has arrived from RC Strasbourg. Left-winger Zsolt Laczkó, 22, makes it a trio of Hungarian recruits having left Vasas SC to pen a five-year deal with Debrecen. Serbian defender Mirsad Mijadinoski, 27, also joins from FC Sion after spending last term on loan at Újpest FC.
