Marko Ćetković and Petar Grbić were on target as FK Mogren kicked off the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League season with a comfortable win.

First goal
Just 34 days after FC Barcelona were crowned European champions in Rome, the 2009/10 edition got under way in Malta. Without star players Terence Scerri and Rumen Galabov, Hibernians conceded control of the game to their Montenegrin visitors, and the honour of scoring the first goal went to 22-year-old midfielder Ćetković, who beat Mario Muscat from left-back Luka Pajović's superb ball after 32 minutes.

Cool finish
With captain Goran Jovanović impressive in midfield, Mogren kept up the pace after the break but did not make their pressure tell until two minutes from time as the 20-year-old Gibić pounced on a defensive error to double their tally with a cool finish. The two sides meet again in Montenegro on 8 July, with Mark Miller's Hibernians seemingly set for an early exit.
