Sporting Clube de Portugal forward Hélder Postiga is a major doubt for Wednesday's match against FC Bayern München after spraining his left knee during Saturday night's 3-2 derby win against SL Benfica.

Sporting Clube de Portugal forward Hélder Postiga is a major doubt for Wednesday's match against FC Bayern München after spraining his left knee during Saturday night's 3-2 derby win against SL Benfica.

Other concerns
The 26-year-old striker, who played in five UEFA Champions League group-stage matches, limped off in the first half and is expected to miss the first knockout round first leg, having been withdrawn from training on Monday. It is also uncertain whether Miguel Veloso (left thigh), Adrien Silva (right leg) and Rui Patrício (left hand) will play in the match against the Bundesliga outfit.
