The 16 UEFA Champions League first knockout round contenders have confirmed their squad changes ahead of the resumption of the competition later this month, with Real Madrid CF adding Lassana Diarra and Julien Faubert to their selection.

Adjustments made
AS Roma have brought loan signings Souleymane Diamoutene and Marco Motta into their squad, while the biggest change at FC Internazionale Milano has been a subtraction rather than an addition – with coach José Mourinho electing to remove Ricardo Quaresma from the Italian champions' list. Elsewhere, forward Landon Donovan will be available to play for FC Bayern München, having joined on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy, while 35-year-old defender Sami Hyypiä will be eligible should Liverpool FC need him this spring. The first knockout round matches will take place on 24/25 February and on 10/11 March.
