'Special day'
"For me it is a special day both personally and professionally," the 31-year-old said. "I arrived in Turin in the summer of 2002 and I'm honoured to have the chance to wear this shirt for nine seasons. It's not easy to stay at this level for so long and I'm sure we will achieve important results in the future." Having aided Juve's run to the 2002/03 UEFA Champions League final, Camoranesi was only able to play the first 31 minutes of this week's 1-0 win against FC Zenit St. Petersburg but is expected to recover from his ankle injury in time for the second Group H game at FC BATE Borisov on 30 September.
