We certainly hoped to achieve a different result, but unfortunately we didn't. The situation remains the same, we have to succeed against the other teams in the group. I'm disappointed but also angry because we knew beforehand how difficult it is to play against a strong defence like Anorthosis. We didn't quite have the spirit to score the decisive goal. We had chances but lacked concentration in front of goal. We have to accept we had five or six openings and didn't take them. You need to be a lot more determined against opponents like this. There's really only one thing to do – really go for it, really attack, go all out for victory. The opportunities will come, all you have to do is take them.
Temuri Ketsbaia, Anorthosis coach
Congratulations to my players for this performance. We played very well against a strong team. We showed it wasn't a coincidence that we made it into the group stage of the Champions League. Now we have five more very difficult matches and we want to play as well as we did today in them. We were concentrated right from the outset and were very tight defensively. I played Traianos Dellas from the start and he proved that I was right to put my faith in him by putting in a very committed display. I'm really proud of my team and have to congratulate them for making such a good start in the Champions League.
