Article body
Gabriel Milito may be unavailable for FC Barcelona's UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at FC Schalke 04 on Tuesday because of a groin problem, but captain Carles Puyol expects to get a clean bill of health.
Groin problem
Milito has been ruled out of Saturday's Primera División game at Real Betis Balompié after missing Argentina's friendly victory in Egypt on Wednesday. Barcelona have put the 27-year-old centre-back on a rehabilitation programme in an attempt to get him fit for the match in Germany. Fellow defender Puyol could even be back in time for Betis despite being injured during Spain's 1-0 friendly defeat of Italy in midweek. The 29-year-old limped off after 17 minutes amid fears he had damaged ligaments in his right ankle.
