Lomana LuaLua's hopes of a return to England to face Chelsea FC on Wednesday have been dashed after the Olympiacos CFP striker was ruled out for six weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
More woe
The 27-year-old suffered the injury to his left shoulder in Olympiacos' 1-1 draw with Asteras Tripolis FC on Saturday and following an initial prognosis he has been sidelined until mid-April. LuaLua will undergo an extensive examination on Monday to assess the full extent of the damage, and may need surgery. It means more misery for the former Newcastle United FC man, who missed the first leg of Olympiacos' UEFA Champions League last-16 tie with Chelsea with a foot injury, and gives coach Panagiotis Lemonis a headache as he is already without winger Luciano Galletti due to a thigh strain.
