Home debut
Having started the season playing for Sevilla's reserve team, Crespo was promoted to the senior selection. He made his first league appearance at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium in a 2-0 win against Real Madrid CF on 3 November, only to be taken off with a fractured jawbone which saw him sidelined for a month. The Spanish Under-21 international has made six league appearances this season and made his UEFA Champions League debut in the 3-1 win against Arsenal FC on 27 November. Sevilla meet Fenerbahçe SK in the first knockout round when the UEFA Champions League resumes in February.
