AS Roma defender Marco Cassetti will be sidelined for four weeks after tearing a muscle in his left thigh during Sunday's defeat of Udinese Calcio in Serie A.
Already qualified
The 30-year-old full-back limped off before half-time at the Stadio Olimpico, in a game Roma won 2-1 to go second in the table, and underwent a scan today which revealed the extent of his injury. Cassetti, who joined the Giallorossi in 2006 from US Lecce, will miss Roma's final match in UEFA Champions League Group F, at home to Manchester United FC on 12 December, with his side already qualified for the first knockout round. He is expected to return to action when Serie A resumes in January after its winter break.
