Luís Figo will miss the remainder of FC Internazionale Milano's UEFA Champions League Group G fixtures after fracturing his right leg during the 1-1 draw at Juventus on Sunday.
Surgery pending
Figo, who was replaced by Nicolás Burdisso 17 minutes into the second half following a tackle by Pavel Nedved, underwent a scan which confirmed the extent of the damage to his right fibula. The former Portuguese international will undergo surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined until 2008. The 35-year-old winger has featured nine times in Serie A and on three occasions in the UEFA Champions League this season. The Nerazzurri are leading Group G with six points after three games ahead of the home fixture against PFC CSKA Moskva on Wednesday.
